Experience Nichols in Person
Nichols offers several ways to visit based on where your family is in the school search. Begin with an Open House, return for a closer look during the school day, or participate in an event centered on a particular interest. Families are encouraged to attend more than one event as they move through the admissions process.
Choosing a school becomes clearer when you can see students and teachers interacting, experience the rhythm of the day, and ask questions in the places where learning happens.

Viking Visit
Viking Visits
These morning events are from 7:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Students will attend three classes, a student life activity, and have the opportunity to meet with student ambassadors and members of the Admission Office to learn more about Nichols School. Students will also be able to enjoy lunch in our Dining Hall.
Upper School applicants spend part of a school day alongside current Nichols students, attending classes and activities and gaining a more personal understanding of daily life on campus.

Viking Visits begin Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
Admission Test Dates
Upper School applicants are required to complete an admissions test. After submitting an application, families can select an available testing date through the parent portal.

Open House is generally the best first step for families who are new to Nichols. See Us in Action offers a closer school-day experience, while Viking Visits and admissions testing are designed for Upper School applicants who have entered the application process.
