*Louise Belcher Keiser Scholarship

Established by the Keiser family in 2012 in memory of Louise B. Keiser, this four-year college scholarship is awarded annually to a female in the Nichols School senior class who demonstrates the qualities and characteristics that Louise’s family and friends admired in her. Louise was a bright, curious, athletic, and purposeful woman who touched the lives of many.

This endowed, renewable four-year scholarship provides up to $10,000 annually for four years. It is awarded each year to a recipient based on academic performance, overall contributions to the school community, and demonstrated financial need. This scholarship was created to provide students with an opportunity to consider a college or university that may have otherwise been financially prohibited. Funds are paid directly to the chosen college/university.

Eligible students are females in the Nichols senior class who plan to attend an accredited college or university, have a minimum of a B average, and demonstrate financial need. The student’s undergraduate study may be in any academic area.

The scholarship will be renewable on a multi-year basis if the student maintains a B average, as documented through college transcripts. The recipient must reapply every year by submitting a final academic transcript and a personal statement reflecting on their academic experience.
