The Nichols Parents’ Association is thrilled to welcome Grammy Award-winning conductor JoAnn Falletta: Life with the Buffalo Philharmonic.
As Music Director of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, JoAnn Falletta made history as the first woman to lead a major American orchestra. Under her direction, the BPO has earned international acclaim and multiple Grammy Awards — including two nominations in 2025.
Named one of the 50 great conductors of all time by Gramophone and celebrated by ASCAP as “a leading force for music of our time,” Falletta has guest-conducted more than a hundred orchestras worldwide.
Join us as she shares insights, stories, and her extraordinary journey at the helm of Buffalo’s own Philharmonic.
Admission is free and open to the public. Nichols families are encouraged to invite friends and relatives. Please RSVP to reserve your spot.
