2021 Nichols Middle School Awards and Eighth Grade Recognition Ceremony

Nichols Middle School celebrated the end of the school year with the annual Middle School Awards and Eighth Grade Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, June 2. True to the spirit of innovation and connection this year, the ceremony was hosted on Zoom with limited in-person attendance. Eighth-graders and their families gathered together in the Flickinger Performing Arts Center, and award-winning students in grades five through seven were shown on Zoom from their advisories in the Middle School.

Head of Middle School Paul Errickson kicked off the ceremony with opening remarks, commending the students for their achievements and their resolve throughout an unusual school year. Errickson also recognized in a special way Connie Klopp, the longtime face of the Middle School front office. Klopp is retiring this spring after 46 years in various roles with Nichols School.
