Aranya began her career at Nichols in 2001 as an English teacher and has since served the school in various roles, including Dean of the Senior Class, Chair of the English Department, Faculty Growth Coach, Mock Trial Team Coach, Head of the Upper School, and Dean of Academics. Across these roles, she has remained committed to supporting students' academic growth, personal development, and well-being.

Outside of school, Aranya enjoys yoga, cycling, hiking, and drawing. She is an avid reader of both classic and contemporary fiction and enjoys exploring books on psychology and therapeutic practices.
