William Nichols Society
Established in the memory of William Nichols, the founder of Nichols School, the William Nichols Society recognizes and honors those alumni, family, and friends who have thoughtfully provided for the future of Nichols School by making a bequest or other planned gift.
Under William Nichols’ leadership, Nichols became a school that demanded a high level of accomplishment while recognizing the individuality of each child’s character and capacity. William Nichols acknowledged the importance of tradition while embracing a willingness to accept and account for changing realities. His vision is felt today as Nichols continues to surge forward with innovative academic and co-curricular programs, powerful mentoring relationships between teachers and students, and a creative approach to teaching and learning that focuses on the successful growth of the whole child.
The William Nichols Society encompasses the spirit of William Nichols and honors all those who have demonstrated commitment to continue the tradition of giving that allows Nichols to provide a solid education while equipping students with character and skills needed to succeed in the world.
