Nichols School Presents 2020 Middle School Awards

Nichols School celebrated the end of the school year with the annual Middle School Awards and Eighth Grade Recognition Ceremony on Friday, June 5.

Head of Nichols Middle School Paul Errickson presented the opening remarks for the ceremony. Errickson thanked Latin teacher Franny Antoniadis, physical education teacher Beth Stone and English teacher George Kloepfer, who are all departing the Middle School after this year, for their more than 110 combined years of teaching at Nichols School.

Errickson also announced the renaming of two awards for Kloepfer and Stone. The Elizabeth R. Stone Award will be presented annually to 8th grade girls for their athletic excellence, sportsmanship, strength of character and leadership. The George J.
