Christopher Burner

Head of School

Christopher Burner joined the Nichols School community in 2019 as the 13th Head of School. Chris joined Nichols from Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio, where he served as Head of School for 11 years. Before becoming Head of School, Chris served as Western Reserve’s Dean of Faculty & Administration and Director of Admission & Financial Aid. He also taught Latin and coached football, wrestling and lacrosse.

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree from Franklin and Marshall College and two master’s degrees from Dartmouth College and Harvard University.
