Physical Education Teacher
Nichols School is seeking an experienced Physical Education teacher for grades 5-12. This role includes coaching Nichols School athletic teams during all seasons.

Reports To: Director of Athletics
Hours: 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m., Monday - Friday
Contract Year: July 1 - June 30, Full-Time Exempt

Duties
- Leading and teaching Physical Education to all 5th and 6th graders
- Coaching team sports (one per season) to our 7th and 8th-grade students
- Teaching Upper School physical education classes
- Coaching duties at the varsity/junior varsity levels

Skills and Qualifications:
- A strong foundation and academic training in physical education
- Experience in coaching and/or competing at a high level of sport
- Strong communication with students, parents, and staff
- Understanding of learning styles and differentiated instruction
