The Work of Life Curatorial class invites students in grades 5-12 to submit their original artwork in all mediums to this year’s student art exhibition, “Footprints.” The exhibition will be held in the Nichols Gallery located in the Flickinger Performing Arts Center.
Work is due by Friday, September 15th. Interested students should see Ms. Besl in Mitchell 101 to sign up or for supplies. We can't wait to display your work!
Our curators suggest approaching this theme in a few ways: Nature and the interaction between humans and the world we live in/ finding the beauty of nature, and tracing the footprint to yourself or other creatures. Delving deeper into the history, culture, and customs and feeling the wisdom our ancestors bequeathed. Considering how carbon footprint and global warming are impacting our lives. Reflecting on travel in the form of a visual journal.
