Meet Emily Olczak, Assistant Director of College Counseling

Emily Olczak has recently joined the Nichols team as the Assistant Director of College Counseling. Emily was born and raised in Lockport, NY, and decided to attend Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. After finishing college, she lived in Chicago for seven years before moving back to Buffalo. Emily loves the people of Buffalo, stating, “I know it is cliché to say, but Buffalo really is the ‘City of Good Neighbors.’ There is a true sense of community, family, and friendship here that you cannot find anywhere else.” Emily comes to Nichols from Niagara University, where she was the Senior Assistant Director of Admissions. In her spare time, Emily loves to visit other cities with her husband and tries to attend sporting events in different stadiums, arenas, and ballparks. Emily says, “I feel fortunate to be a part of the College Counseling Office at Nichols. It is important that I work closely as a team with families, teachers, and administration to ensure that I am supporting and guiding students through one of the most crucial times of their high school career.” Welcome to Nichols Emily!
