Nichols Service and Social Justice Hosting Virtual Film Event

Nichols School's Service and Social Justice program is excited to be co-sponsoring a special virtual film event as part of the WNY Refugee Film Festival run by Journey’s End Refugee Services.

Tune in via Zoom on Wednesday, October 28 at 7:00 p.m. for a screening of the documentary film, "Day One: 56 Languages, 42 Countries, One Community. A Gateway to a New Life." The film features a St. Louis public school that serves students from refugee and immigrant backgrounds.

We will be joined by special guest speakers, including Director Lori Miller & Ms. Tonya Davis, an ESL teacher for PS208 Riverside Academy here in Buffalo, NY, for a Q&A following the screening.

Please reach out to Service and Social Justice coordinators Caitlin Crowell (ccrowell@nicholsschool.org) or Kevin Powers (kpowers@nicholsschool.org) with any questions.
