Nichols School Surpasses $60,000,000 All iN Campaign Goal

The successful completion of Nichols School’s most ambitious fundraising campaign in its 131-year history was announced at the Saturn Club during the All iN Campaign for Nichols School celebration event on March 15.

Chair of the Nichols School Board of Trustees, Kate Roach ’83, welcomed a crowd of past and present school leaders and community philanthropists to celebrate the successful completion of All iN, the largest campaign in the 131-year history of the school.

Nichols School Hires RJ Gicewicz ‘14 as Head Coach of Nichols School Boys 18U Prep Hockey Program

Head of School Christopher Burner is pleased to announce RJ Gicewicz as the new Director of Nichols Boys Youth Hockey Program and 18U Prep Coach.

Coach Gicewicz is stepping into the role of Director of Nichols Boys Youth Hockey Program and 18U Prep Coach after coaching the school’s 16U program for the past two seasons, along with being the Recruiting and Skills Coordinator for the 2022-23 season.

Karr Parker Summer Grant Internship

A Summer Intern Grant Program was created in 1992 by The Western New York Foundation to endow an opportunity for Nichols Upper School students in grades 9-11 to receive financial assistance for a summer service opportunity or unpaid internship.

2023-24 One Page Calendar

We are excited to release the 2023-2024 school calendar. A few notable dates at the beginning of the school year are:

Monday, August 28, all students who are new to Nichols will be invited to campus for a one-day orientation
Tuesday, August 29, is the first official day of school
Friday, September 1, Upper School grade-level retreats

The 22nd Flick Fest Wants to See Your Video!

We are pleased to announce the call for work for the 22st Annual Nichols School Flick Fest Student Film and Video Festival! The festival accepts entries by middle and high school students across Western New York. Student work submitted to the festival is judged by a panel of student filmmakers and curated into a single evening screening.

Geology and Ecology of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem
