2022-23 Cum Laude Society Inductees

Nichols welcomed 19 seniors into this year's Cum Laude Society. Nichols, in 1918, was the thirteenth school to be admitted to membership in the Cum Laude Society.

At Nichols, criteria for admission of students to the Cum Laude Society is based on: academic excellence, scholarship and love of learning, consistency in performance across the four years with special attention to achievement in grades 11 and 12, degree of difficulty in course load, character, honor, and integrity in all aspects of school life.

Dr. Aranya Maritime was this year's speaker. She said 'It is my firm belief, and here’s maybe my only piece of advice to all the cum laude recipients, and everyone else in this room – that if someone hands you the mic, you always take it.  You don’t get a lot of chances to in life to speak in front of a live 400+ person audience, so don’t pass them by.'
