Nichols School Presents Annual Martin Luther King. Jr Day Assembly

On Thursday, January 13, Nichols School students led an all-school assembly celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Upper School students presented to the entire school community on Thursday during our annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Assembly. Students presented lessons on the life and education of Dr. King; his commitment to nonviolence and leadership in the Civil Rights Movement; the activism led by his wife, Coretta Scott King; and his dreams for our country.

Benjamin Cordero-Livingston '22 served as host for this year's program. Student presenters included Leyla Akil '23, Brianna Barr-Buday '24, Belal Hamdani '25, Qasim Hamdani '25, James Hamilton '24, Laliya Kashindi '22, Ben Robare '22, David White '23, and Jeremiah Williams '24. Alicia Green '22 and Miya Giddens '22 also shared musical performances with the school community during the assembly.
