Interruption by Paula Sciuk On Display at Nichols Art Gallery

Paula Sćiuk, a Western New York native and multidisciplinary artist, is the featured artist for the first Nichols Art Gallery exhibition of the 2021-22 school year. Her exhibit, Interruption, is on display now through Monday, November 22.
 
Members of the public are invited to join Sćiuk at the gallery inside the Flickinger Performing Arts Center for a reception featuring the exhibit on Wednesday, September 22 from 5-7 p.m. Admission is free. All attendees will be required to wear a mask or face covering while indoors.
 
Sćiuk began refining her visual and conceptual vocabulary at the State University College of New York at Buffalo, where she studied design, painting and sculpture, completing a BA in Design. Since 2007, her large-scale photographic images have been shown in numerous exhibitions throughout New York State and at the Louvre, Paris, France; Times Square, New York City; and Scope, Miami, Florida. Her works are included in the permanent collections of the Burchfield Penney Art Center and Roswell Park Cancer Institute among other public, corporate and private collections.
