Matt Bradshaw Named Head Coach of Nichols Varsity Boys Basketball

Matt Bradshaw, a championship-winning coach with over three decades of local experience, was announced Thursday as the new varsity boys basketball head coach at Nichols School. Bradshaw succeeds Joe Mihalics, who led the Vikings for the previous three seasons.

“We are very excited to have Matt leading the Nichols boys basketball program,” Nichols athletic director Rob Stewart said. “He is a well-respected coach in the local community and brings a championship pedigree to Nichols School. We look forward to the impact Matt will make for our team and our school community.”

Previously, Bradshaw coached boys basketball at Lewiston-Porter High School for 30 years. Bradshaw helped guide the Lancers to three division titles and a Section VI Class A championship in 2018-19. He is also a longtime teacher at Lew-Port High School.

Bradshaw and his wife, Melinda, have five children and live in Kenmore.
