Two Nichols School Students Win Awards from UB Confucius Institute
Steven Hall '21 and Hana R. '25 were two of 12 secondary school students from Erie and Niagara Counties honored with the 2021 Award for Excellence in Chinese Language Learning by the University at Buffalo's Confucius Institute.
The awardees were selected based on their dedication to the study of Chinese language, high level of language proficiency, and enthusiasm for learning about Chinese language and culture.
The UB Confucius Institute supports Chinese language teaching at UB and in local K-12 schools, China-related research, teaching and artistic production at UB, and community cultural events that foster a better understanding of Chinese traditions and contemporary culture.
