Entrepreneurial Studies Class Prepares for 2020 Pitch Night Finals

Each year, Nichols School students in the Entrepreneurial Studies senior elective participate in a Shark Tank-style event called Pitch Night where they have the opportunity to present a unique business idea to a panel of expert judges.

The semifinals of the 2020 Pitch Night competition were held in front of an audience of junior and senior students, faculty, staff and parents on Thursday, March 5 and Friday, March 6. The top four teams from the semifinal presentations have advanced to the finals which take place tomorrow night, March 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Nichols School Student Commons. The finals are open to the public.

Over the last eight weeks, seven teams of students have researched and developed the products they would like to pitch during this year's competition. Students have worked with faculty and staff on their unique projects in addition to classroom lessons from Meg Auerbach and Sandy Smith. The field has now been narrowed to four for Tuesday's Pitch Night finals.
