Nichols Students Win Confucius Institute Award

On February 16, 2018, Nichols students gathered in the FPAC to celebrate and learn more about Chinese culture in recognition of the Lunar New Year. The special assembly can be watched by clicking here.

Additionally, University at Buffalo's Confucius Institute (UBCI) recognized 13 local students for excellence in Chinese language learning during the 2018 Chinese New Year Celebration at UB on February 17. Out of the 13, the Confucius Institute was pleased to present J'Nae Fields '22 and Dylan Hall '18 of Nichols School with the Confucius Institute Award for Excellence in Chinese Language. The award winners were selected for dedicated study, excellence in Chinese language proficiency, and enthusiasm for Chinese culture. The awardees are all middle or high-school students at Western New York schools with exemplary Chinese language programs.
