Four members of the Nichols School varsity field hockey team were named to the 2019 High School National Academic Squad by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA).

Abby Marzec '21 was named a Scholar of Distinction by the NFHCA. Marzec is one of just two field hockey players in Buffalo named Scholars of Distinction for the 2019 season, joining Abigail Udy of Sweet Home.

The Scholar of Distinction Honor is presented to juniors and seniors who achieved a minimum cumulative, unweighted grade-point average of 3.9 out of 4.0 or its equivalent in the first quarter of the 2019-20 school year.

Alexandra Snow '20, Mackenzie Sucher '21 and Alexa Suda '21 (pictured left to right) were also named to the High School National Academic Squad for achieving a grade-point average of 3.50 out of 4.0 or the equivalent through the first quarter of the 2019-20 school year.

Congratulations on your achievements in the classroom and on the playing field!
