Nichols Varsity Boys Soccer Ranked #1 in New York State by MaxPreps.com

The Nichols varsity boys soccer team is making waves this season. With two-thirds of the regular season complete, the Vikings were ranked as the top team in New York State by MaxPreps.com this past weekend.
 
Nichols, which also holds the top rank in the Western New York Coaches Small Schools poll, is 7-0-1 in its first eight games and has outscored their opponents 21-3. The Vikings have won the last five games since an early-season tie with Orchard Park and have four games remaining until the Monsignor Martin League postseason begins next Wednesday, November 11.
 
Each of Nichols’ final four regular-season games are at home: Tuesday, November 3 at 4 p.m. against St. Mary’s of Lancaster; Thursday, November 5 at 4 p.m. in a rematch of last season’s Monsignor Martin league championship against St. Joe’s; Saturday, November 7 at 3 p.m. against Canisius; and Tuesday, November 10 at 4 p.m. against Bishop Timon-St. Jude.
