Wednesday, February 3, 2021 marked the 35th annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day. The day recognizes the athletic accomplishments of girls and women, and commemorates the passing of Title IX legislation.
Coach Ross is in his sixth year teaching at Nichols and just finished his third season coaching varsity boys soccer. He led the team to an 11-1-1 record and a Monsignor Martin league championship last fall.
In addition to teaching Upper School science classes, Mr. Bouchard coaches sailing and teaches Research Scholars, an elective for seniors who work with physicians from Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center to conduct scholarly research.

A world-renowned storyteller who formerly taught in Buffalo Public Schools and hosted a storytelling radio show on 93.7 WBLK, Amin visited Mr. Abrams’ fifth grade English class earlier this month as an introduction to an exciting project.
Their work, completed in collaboration with scientists from Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and titled “Approach to Resectable N1 Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer: An Analysis of the National Cancer Database,” was recently accepted for publication in the Journal of Surgical Research in March 2021.
