The Nichols School Trustee Scholars Program is designed to attract students who demonstrate strong character, outstanding academic achievement, intellectual curiosity, leadership qualities and enthusiasm for contributing to the School community.
Merit-based Trustee Scholar Awards (scholarships of $1,000 to $10,000/year) are awarded to students who have distinguished themselves as outstanding scholars and citizens. We require submission of supplemental materials to be considered for this recognition. All Trustee Scholar Awards are given for a specified term and the number of awards is limited. Each year, the number of awards offered, as well as the amount and term of the award, will depend upon the strength of the applications and on the composition of the applicant pool.
TRUSTEE SCHOLAR AWARDS: FOR NEW STUDENTS ENTERING GRADES 5-12

To be considered for a Trustee Scholar Award, applications and supplemental forms must be submitted by December 16, 2019.
THE SELECTION PROCESS
Semifinalists will be selected based on test results, past academic achievements and recommendation forms. Students will be invited back to Nichols School on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 9-10 a.m. to sit for a writing exercise and a second interview. A student who attends this event is automatically identified as a semi-finalist for the Trustee Scholar Program and will receive a minimum award of $300 each year for their tuition at Nichols School.
