Nichols School will be hosting a two-day SAT Boot Camp for interested juniors over winter break, with classes on Monday, February 15 and Tuesday, February 16 from 12 to 3 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: In-person registration has been filled. Students may still register to attend the Winter Break 2021 SAT Boot Camp virtually.
The cost of this course is $295. Students will be provided with a curriculum binder with practice test materials, strategy sheets, scoring guides, test-day tips and advice, and a College Board-approved stopwatch.
Day One (12-3 p.m.) - Students will take a timed diagnostic test with a trained SAT instructor. The test is an actual, released SAT from College Board, including Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math sections. The Optional Essay will be assigned for homework.
Day Two (12-3 p.m.) - Students will have a guided review and strategy session using the diagnostic SAT test. Areas of strength and weakness will be quickly identified for targeted practice.
We plan to offer this course in person unless COVID-19 restrictions prevent us from doing so. Students will be expected to follow all regular safety measures, including completion of the daily Magnus App questionnaire.
The Winter Break SAT Boot Camp will be taught by Chris Hill, Associate Director of College Counseling and Upper School Faculty member. For more information about this program, feel free to contact Chris at email@example.com or at 716-332-5162.
