Wellness


Middle School students in grades 6-8 participate in an introduction to the wellness curriculum. The majority of these classes will take place during Advisory or Sports periods. The age appropriate subjects are taught and discussed by grade level and either in a single sex or co-educational setting, depending on the topic. The curriculum includes nutrition, proper hygiene, self respect, sexting, cyber bullying, character education, stress management, healthy relationships, body image, and making healthy choices.
